Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using My Goal, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use My Goal on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.

What My Goal provides

My Goal is a personal planning and progress-tracking service. It can help you create goals, divide them into steps, record progress, view summaries and predictions, identify patterns, and upload or download goal data.

Accounts and sign-in

You are responsible for maintaining control of the Apple, Google, or other supported sign-in account used to access My Goal. You must provide accurate information and must not use another person’s identity or account without permission.

Tell us promptly through the public enquiry form if you believe your My Goal account or associated sign-in account has been compromised.

Your goal content

You retain ownership of goal titles, descriptions, steps, logs, images, and other content you add. You give My Goal permission to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate features you request, including backup, restore, download, progress, prediction, and profile features.

You must have the right to upload your content. Do not add unlawful content or content that infringes another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.

Predictions and insights

Progress predictions, completion estimates, achievement signals, and personal patterns are generated from available goal information. They are estimates and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or affected by limited history.

My Goal does not provide medical, psychological, financial, legal, fitness, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for your decisions and for obtaining qualified advice where appropriate.

Backups and data recovery

Backup and download features are intended to reduce the risk of data loss and help you restore goal information. We take reasonable measures to operate these features reliably, but no storage system is completely immune from interruption, corruption, deletion, or failure.

You are responsible for checking that important uploads or downloads have completed and for keeping an independent copy when losing particular information would cause serious harm.

Subscriptions and purchases

Some features may require a paid subscription or purchase. Purchases made through Apple’s App Store are billed and managed by Apple under the terms shown at purchase. Prices, billing periods, renewal conditions, cancellation options, and refund rights are presented through the applicable store.

Deleting a My Goal account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Manage or cancel the subscription through your App Store account.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• interfere with, damage, overload, probe, or bypass the service or its security;
• use automated systems to submit spam, scrape content, or create excessive requests;
• reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access to accounts or data; or
• use My Goal for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or rights-infringing activity.

Our intellectual property

My Goal’s software, design, branding, text, interfaces, and other materials are owned by or licensed to My Goal and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, change, suspend, or discontinue features to improve My Goal, protect users, comply with law, or address technical and business needs. We do not promise that every feature will always be available or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Where reasonably possible, we will avoid changes that unnecessarily prevent access to stored information and will provide notice of material changes.

Suspension and account deletion

You may stop using My Goal at any time and may request account deletion through the public enquiry form. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, or comply with law, including for serious or repeated violations of these terms.

Sections that by their nature should continue after account closure, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, will continue to apply.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, My Goal is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that may otherwise apply, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, My Goal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, opportunities, goodwill, or data arising from use of or inability to use the service.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised terms here and update the date above. Continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
