My Goal provides goal planning, progress tracking, insights, and backup features through the My Goal application and website. In this policy, “My Goal,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of these services.

Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in, we receive and store the user identifier, name, and email address supplied by your login provider. If your provider offers a private relay email address, we receive that relay address instead of your personal address. We do not receive or store your login password.

Goal and backup information

When you choose to upload or back up your data, we store the goal information needed to provide backup, download, restore, progress, prediction, summary, and profile features. This may include goal titles, descriptions, categories, steps, deadlines, progress logs, check-ins, quantities, milestones, and goal images that you add.

Messages you send us

If you submit app feedback or a public enquiry, we store the information you provide, such as your name, email address, subject, message, app version, or device name. For public enquiries, we also retain a one-way hash of the source address and limited browser information to prevent abuse and enforce submission limits.

How we use information

We use information only as needed to:

• create and maintain your account and authenticate sign-ins;
• provide goal backup, download, restore, progress, prediction, summary, and profile features;
• protect the service, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability;
• respond to feedback, support requests, and public enquiries; and
• meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

When information is shared

We do not sell or rent your information. Information may be processed by service providers that host infrastructure, databases, authentication, or other technology required to operate My Goal. They may process information only to provide those services and must protect it appropriately.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or the security and integrity of My Goal.

Storage and security

Account and uploaded goal data are stored on systems used to operate My Goal. We use administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

No storage or transmission method is completely secure. You should keep your device, sign-in account, and access credentials protected and maintain your own exports when a separate copy is important to you.

Retention and deletion

We retain account information and uploaded goal data while your account remains active and for as long as needed to provide backup and recovery features. Feedback and enquiries may be retained while needed to respond, maintain support records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

You may request deletion of your account and associated information through the public enquiry form. We may ask you to verify your identity before completing the request. We will delete or anonymise information unless retention is required by law or necessary to resolve security, fraud, or legal matters.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to the use of, or delete your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

Use My Goal’s download features to obtain available goal data, or contact us through the public enquiry form for another privacy request. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and expect providers to protect information consistently with this policy.

Children’s privacy

My Goal is not intended for children who are not legally able to consent to the processing of their information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information without appropriate permission should contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

We may update this policy when the service, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
